thanks for the kind words!! it's sometimes a bit hard feeling positive when you're living in social isolation and don't have any friends irl (and not much online), and combined with having "nieche interests", it makes it a bit harder (sometimes i wish i was "normal", though since joining the indie web that feeling has gotten less). but i'll still try to continue doing these things, since they do make me fun!! (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝) so thanks again for these words, and excuse me for venting a bit. also i'm very proud of my site and my ocs! (especially sophia)

It's the first time I hear someone compare my site to an obscure franchise website dedicated to their mascot characters, but I guess with having Sophia as the mascot, it kinda went like this? (Not that it's a bad thing) Maybe I could try to play more into it (sounds like a fun idea). Never heard of Pop'n music before, but I really like both of these songs! i'm always open for questions! hmm honestly when i started out this site, i also didn't really know how it should look like. i just tried a few things, like the borders around texts or the one at the sidebar, and that just worked for me. (the first version of this site also kinda looked awful when i revisit it lol) one thing i'd say that made things easier was having my oc and theming the site a bit around her. so i guess my advice would be to theme it around something you love, can be a character, a band, whatever, and then incorporating elements of that? or you can look at other sites and take inspiration from that. also one thing that helps (if you aren't doing it already) is to set one color as a primary color (in my case it'd be purple), maybe also different shades of that color, and be consistant with that on your site. you can obviously have more than one primary color, but they should fit with each other. (you can also search for color palettes online) i hope that i could help you! i could also try giving feedback if you want.
